Charging Lithium Batteries
Lithium automotive batteries need dedicated chargers and correct voltage. Never use lead-acid profiles.
Charging lithium automotive batteries
Lithium (LiFePO4) automotive batteries must be charged with a lithium-compatible charger. The voltage limits and algorithm differ from lead-acid and AGM; using the wrong charger can overcharge the cells and create a safety risk or void the warranty. Never use a lead-acid or AGM-only charger on a lithium battery.
If your vehicle or bike has a lithium battery, use only a charger that explicitly states lithium/LiFePO4 support and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Store and charge in a cool, dry place when possible.
