Charging use case
Fleet Vehicles
Workshop and fleet chargers for multiple vehicles. Bulk charging, AGM/EFB modes, and reliability matter.
Charging for fleets and workshops
Fleet and workshop use demands chargers that can handle multiple vehicles, support AGM/EFB for modern vans and cars, and operate reliably day in, day out. Multi-bank chargers (several outputs) or robust single-unit chargers with 12V/24V and multiple modes are common. Recovery trucks and workshops also need the ability to bring a flat battery up to a startable state quickly, so higher amp ratings (10A–25A) are typical.
In the UK, many fleet vehicles are diesel vans with Start/Stop and AGM batteries. Chargers must have a dedicated AGM (and ideally EFB) mode; using a standard-only charger can shorten battery life or trigger fault codes. A float/maintain option is useful for vehicles that sit over weekends or between jobs.
