Charger tools
Interactive tools for charger selection and charging: charger matcher, charging time calculator, battery type detector, voltage checker, and charger compatibility checker. More tools are being added.
These tools help you choose the right charger and interpret charging and battery data. The charger matcher will recommend charger type and size based on your battery (type, capacity) and use case (daily driver, storage, winter, etc.). The charging time calculator estimates how long it takes to charge your battery from its current state using your charger’s output—useful when you need to plan when the vehicle will be ready. The battery type detector helps you identify whether your battery is AGM, EFB, or standard so you can select a compatible charger and mode.
The voltage checker explains what battery voltage readings mean—at rest, when charging, and on float—and when a reading suggests a weak or failing battery. The charger compatibility checker lets you confirm that a specific charger is suitable for your battery type and vehicle (including Start/Stop). Until these tools are live, use our charger guides (especially charger sizing and voltage levels) and our main battery tools—Battery Fitment Finder and Battery Type Picker—to match your vehicle and battery.
